I also have an old version of SplashID desktop (which I have also removed to test) that I used with my Treo before getting my iPhone and it works fine. I have the iPhone version of SplashID which works fine. I am running OS 10.4.11 on an PowerPC G4. I have tried this numerous times and have gone as far as deleting everything on my system that has anything to do with SplashID and then re-installing my OS. I have contacted SplashData support who have repeatedly told me to rename the SplashID folder to. It bounces a few times and then gives me this error "The application SplashID quit unexpectedly" with options to close, report or reopen (none of which help). I have installed it per the instructions at SplashData Version 4.6.1 which says it is compatable with Tiger (OS 10.4.11) but it will not open. I am having a problem with SplashID desktop.
